Mini Cooper EV is going to launch in the coming years. The Countryman and Cooper hatchback will return with both combustion and all-electric power. We expect more from this Mini Cooper.
Mini Cooper – Details Specifications
Well as per Autocar’s preview, we can say this car is going to keep the same overall length. Here we are getting a longer wheelbase, larger wheels, and a wider track to give it a more planted, aggressive stance but the front overhang will be shorter.
Here is one confusion about Cooper and that is how far Mini will go with the tune this time around because it will be offered with combustion power.
Everything was good but one thing is just a bit disheartening this car is not coming with a manual option. It will be available in an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The New Cooper EV
The gas Cooper will be the first to get three-door, five-door, and convertible guises. Not only this according to Autocar claims the new cooper EV will come up with three doors only but there are reportedly plans for a limited edition convertible model.
Mini Cooper EV range and Battery
Well, before buying any electric car we always think about the range. The entry-level electric car will get a 40 kWh battery, most probably dubbed the Mini Cooper E, while the SE model returns with a larger 54 kWh pack.
Surprisingly the range is about 240 miles better than the 150-mile range of the current SE. Now if we speak about power then we can see here that the standard Cooper E is getting 181horsepower, the SE up to 215 hp, and the mid-2025 slated SE JCW version could get up to 250 hp with the same 54 kWh battery.
